OCA Global is pleased to announce that after the award of the IDB funded project "Designing an Institutional Training Program on Blue Economy in Barbados", the project has come to an end with the production, among other deliverables, of manuals and animated videos on different Blue Economy topics and after delivering a training course to members of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Blue Economy (MMABE) of Barbados.
OCA Global designed 5 different courses on the following topics:
- Introduction to the Blue Economy
- Introduction to Integrated Ocean Governance
- Management of Marine Protected Areas
- Sustainable Ocean Finance
- Strategic Environmental Assessment
Which were accompanied by detailed manuals and animated videos.
In addition, two training sessions were delivered to more than 35 MMABE members.
