OCA Global Chile implements the certification of an Electrical Installations Integrity Management System at PFV Nuevo Quillagua

OCA Global Chile's Consulting and Environmental Division has been awarded the contract for the implementation of an electrical installation integrity management system for Grenergy renovables, an independent power producer (IPP) that integrates the development, construction, operation and maintenance of large-scale renewable energy plants.

The Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustible (SEC) in its regulation D-109-RPTD establishes the minimum safety requirements to be met by electrical facilities for the production, transportation, provision of complementary services, storage systems and distribution of electricity, in matters of design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, repair, and final termination of operations, as well as the obligations of natural and legal persons involved in these activities in order to develop them safely.

In this context, the SEC has requested a diagnosis based on the NCh-ISO 55001 and the development of a plan to implement an Electrical Installation Integrity Management System (SGIIE). OCA Global Chile has implemented and supported the certification process of an Electrical Installation Integrity Management System based on the SEC's technical specifications RPTD N°17 and the ISO 55001 standard at PFV Nuevo Quillagua SpA.
