OCA Global collaborates in the implementation of a project financed by the EIB IN SÃO TOMÉ: “Capacity building for the recovery of the electricity sector”.

OCA Global is proud to announce the success of our latest contribution to the implementation of the “Capacity Building Project for the Recovery of the Electricity Sector in Sao Tome”, financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Our OCA Global team collaborated in the EIB project by delivering tailor-made training sessions aimed at improving the skills of the staff of the commercial division of EMAE, the public electricity company of Sao Tome. The training content was meticulously designed to improve the quality of energy meter reading and commercial procedures, conforming to national and international standards, and incorporating emerging technologies crucial to EMAE's transition.

Throughout the sessions, participants gained skills in obtaining accurate meter readings, complying with commercial standards, and ensuring quality of service. They also learned about energy management processes, customer-centric approaches, and identifying fraud and anomalies in the energy infrastructure.

By improving meter reading accuracy and compliance with business rules, EMAE can improve its billing processes and overall customer service experience.
